Activities

ACTIVITY 1: LEAFLETS AND POSTERS
(January 18-24, 2012)

For our prospect and primary readers we introduced our e-blog to several forthcoming students by placing posters within the vicinity of Polytechnic University of the Philippines, Mabini Campus and as well as by distributing leaflets to PUPians (meaning, students of PUP).

So we went to different colleges of PUP (see photos,
here) and get to interact with a lot of students. Some were interested, some weren’t. Some would ask us how we can help them.

The experience we got from interacting with forthcoming students on our own college was a lifting endeavour. We get to assess whether or not they’re eager to get career right after they graduate. And we even get to know their own viewpoint in choosing careers—which in turn, help us to develop this e-blog to provide them with a more resourceful career source site.

We are not aware of it, but of course we are really interested too with our readers here (hoping we have). We’re hoping that whoever you are, the articles and the job vacancy entries we provided here will be of help.

Anyway, before we end this entry, if you are interested to see our leaflet and poster and you haven't seen it yet on our blog,
here.

ACTIVITY 2: ONLINE PORTFOLIO
(January 25-31 , 2012)

We'd been thinking of ways of how we can really help our fellow students—especially the forthcoming students of our beloved university for career exploration.

We started it off by introducing “
Online Portfolio”.

Online Portfolio is our way of exposing our graduating students to companies who might need them right after they graduate. And how can we exactly do that?

By simply sending their resumes on our email (if interested, see
contact us for details), then we either send their resumes on different companies that fits their course or expose it over here.

To give you glimpse of some colleagues who participated on our said activity you can check it here. For more information about the Online Portfolio, click here.

ACTIVITY 3: NOW YOU KNOW
(February 1-6, 2012)

This e-blog is a perfect venue to share our thoughts and articles about career exploration. Also, to share videos to our readers—who we expect mostly were job hunters, about making resumes, tips on interview and the like.

So we conducted an activity, wherein we’re able to produce informative articles for you to read as you explored our site.

Visit this, if you haven’t been there yet.

ACTIVITY 4: CHASING COURSE RELATED JOBS
(February 7-17, 2012)

Basically, the intention of this e-blog is to cater available job vacancies to our beloved readers, especially to forthcoming graduating students.

Our next e-blog activity’s “Chasing Course-Related Jobs”. One of the dilemmas faced by our graduates is what job opportunities to grab and what not to. So to help them out we posted job vacancy post that’ll suit the degree they just finished or they’ll be going to.

Some job vacancies for graduates of:

1. Bachelor in Journalism/ Mass Communication
2. Bachelor in Tourism Management
3. Bachelor in Information Technology
4. Graduates from College of Arts and Sciences

Check it, here. Hoping, we’d really helped you if you graduate from these courses.  If not, you can try reading our next activity.

ACTIVITY 5: BLOW-OUT JOBS
(February 18-22, 2012)

Since we thought the previous activity “Chasing Course-Related Jobs” is limited only to those whose courses were used on the entry. It turns out we must make another job resource entry/activity wherein more readers and job hunters could be involved.

We created, “Blow-Out-Jobs”, see the article here. The activity, as said, was used to cater job vacancies to a larger number of hunters—in all areas of expertise.
